Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  3/16/2016

Receipts:  1234    Week Ago:  180    Year Ago:  1349

   Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers 3.00-6.00 higher 
except 400-500 lbs steady and grazing flesh steers near 600 lbs 10.00
higher. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs 3.00-6.00 higher, over 550 lbs 
steady. Slaughter cows steady. Supply moderate. Near 6 percent of the
offering were cows and 27 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. 
Feeder supply approximately 66 percent steers and 34 percent heifers. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs few 220.00-232.00, small
package thin 320 lbs 249.00; 400-500 lbs 206.00-217.00, small package 
fleshy 495 lbs 197.00; 500-600 lbs 186.00-207.00; 600-700 lbs 180.00-
194.00, two lots thin 600 lbs 202.00-206.00, few fleshy 145.00-167.00; 
700-720 lbs few 162.00-166.00; 61 head 750 lbs 168.00; 800-900 lbs 138.50-
148.00, package calves 805 lbs 130.00. Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs
210.00-224.00; 400-500 lbs 195.00-216.00; 500-600 lbs 189.00-200.00; 600-
