Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  2/10/2016

Receipts:  1287    Week Ago:  283    Year Ago: 1502

    Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers steady to 2.00 
higher. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, over 600 lbs
3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady compared to last week. Supply 
moderate. Near 7 percent of the offering were cows and 43 percent of the
feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 69 percent steers
and bulls and 31 percent heifers. Good quality feeder offering with mostly
good to very good condition with the majority weighing 550-750 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  package 365 lbs 221.00; 400-500 lbs
204.00-211.00; 500-600 lbs 182.00-208.00; 600-700 lbs 156.50-177.00, package
calves 635 lbs 158.50; 700-800 lbs 151.00-159.25. Medium and Large 1-2  350-
400 lbs 212.00-219.00; 400-500 lbs 192.00-211.00; 500-600 lbs 172.00-200.00; 
600-700 lbs 153.00-166.00, package calves 690 lbs 145.00; 750-800 lbs few
141.50-147.00. Medium and Large 2  400-450 lbs 170.00-185.00; small package
530 lbs 162.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 185.00-190.00; 400-500 lbs
