Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  7/29/2015

   Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder
heifers steady to firm. Slaughter cows steady. Supply light. Near 4 percent 
of the offering was cows and 44 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. 
Feeder supply approximately 59 percent steers and bulls and 41 percent heifers. 
Active feeder trade as the market had moved steadily lower since the sale two
weeks ago but may have found a bottom now after showing some strength the past
couple of days. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  440-500 lbs 268.00-284.00; 500-600 lbs
241.00-263.00; 600-700 lbs 222.00-243.00, load 665 lbs 239.75; 700-710 lbs few
216.00-217.00; small package 840 lbs 201.00. Medium and Large 1-2  300-400 lbs
289.00-300.00; 475-530 lbs 245.00-272.00; 600-700 lbs 220.50-234.00, 9 head 
guant 615 lbs 244.75; small package 750 lbs 203.50. Medium and Large 2  package
515 lbs 246.00; package 690 lbs 208.00.   

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 242.00-249.00; 500-600 lbs
