Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  4/01/2015

   Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 650 lbs 5.00-10.00 higher, 
over 650 lbs steady. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs 4.00-12.00 higher, over 
500 lbs steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Supply moderate. Near 10 
percent of the offering was cows and 26 percent of the feeders were over 
600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 60 percent steers and bulls and 40 percent
heifers. Several good light cattle in the week?s offering highlighted by around
115 head of high quality black calves weighing 225-400 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  15 head 240 lbs 430.00; 300-400 lbs 
327.50-370.00, two lots value added 300-330 lbs 392.50-412.50; 400-500 lbs
302.00-335.00; 500-600 lbs 275.00-312.50, few fleshy 267.00-270.00; 600-700 lbs
241.00-265.00, package thin 615 lbs 275.00, small package fleshy 690 lbs 230.00;
package 790 lbs 200.00; 850-900 lbs few 192.00-205.00. Medium and Large 1-2  
400-500 lbs 280.00-325.00; 500-600 lbs 260.00-277.50; 600-650 lbs 240.00-255.00,
