Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  3/18/2015

Receipts:  1349    Week Ago:  1275    Year Ago: 543

   Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 650 lbs 4.00-12.00 lower, 
over 650 lbs steady. Feeder heifers mostly steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-5.00
lower. Supply moderate. Near 8 percent of the offering was cows and 35 percent
of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 64 percent steers
and bulls and 36 percent heifers. Nice quality offering again this week with
lots of grass ready cattle along with some good quality new crops starting to 
come to town. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 303.00-315.00; 400-500 lbs
276.00-319.00; 500-600 lbs 265.00-290.00; 600-700 lbs 240.00-259.00, package
fleshy 645 lbs 226.00; 700-800 lbs 206.00-247.00; 800-850 lbs few 192.00-
193.00; package 910 lbs 184.50. Medium and Large 1-2  290-310 lbs 313.00-
