Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 8/13/2014
Receipts: 1018 Last Week: 305 Last Year: 196
Compared to last Wednesday, no good price comparison on feeder steers and
heifers, however the undertone was steady to firm. Slaughter cows were steady
near 6 percent of the offering were cows and 56 percent of the feeders were
over 600 lbs. Demand for the feeder offering was very good.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 few 375-400 lbs. 275.00-300.00; 400-
475 lbs. 275.00-297.00; 500-600 lbs. 240.00-250.00, pkg. fancy 505 lbs. 261.50;
600-700 lbs. 236.00-245.00; 700-800 lbs. 220.00-238.75; pkg 815 lbs. 218.25;
lot 905 lbs. 208.00. Medium and Large 1-2 450-500 lbs. 249.00-264.00;
550-600 lbs. 215.00-236.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 pkg thin fleshed 300 lbs. 291.00;
pkg 390 lbs. 271.00; 450-500 lbs. 236.00-253.50, pkg fancy 475 lbs. 274.00;
500-600 lbs. 225.00-239.00; 600-700 lbs. 220.00-239.50. Medium and Large 1-2
