Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 6/19/2013

   Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 550 lbs 2.00-4.00 lower, 
over 550 lbs steady. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs steady to 2.00 lower, over
550 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Supply heavy. Near 4
percent of the offering was cows and 47 percent of the feeders were over 
600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 57 percent steers and bulls and 43 percent
heifers. The third June feeder special did not disappoint as the quality was
outstanding from end to end with the vast majority of the cattle weighing 500-
700 lbs. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 156.00-165.00; 500-600 lbs
145.00-162.00; 600-700 lbs 144.00-157.75, 42 head value added 600 lbs 160.00, 
several calves 135.00-142.00; 700-800 lbs 130.00-144.50, 18 head value added
700 lbs 146.75, few calves 117.50-126.00; few calves 800-850 lbs 118.25-122.00.
Medium and Large 1-2  450-500 lbs 140.00-149.00; 500-600 lbs 140.00-152.00; 600-
700 lbs 136.00-147.75; small package calves 720 lbs 123.00; package 775 lbs
