Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 3/13/2013
Cattle Receipts: 525 Last Week: 100 Year Ago: 1131
No recent price comparisons available on the feeders. Slaughter cows
steady. Demand moderate to good. Supply light. Near 14 percent of the offering
was cows and 36 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply
approximately 55 percent steers and bulls and 45 percent heifers. Light run
again due to the mud with a nice offering expected next week.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2 small package 285 lbs 197.00;
350-400 lbs 180.00-189.00; 400-500 lbs 167.00-190.00; 500-600 lbs 149.00-
