Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week Slaughter lambs sold steady
with a firm undertone. Slaughter ewes sold steady. Supply was good.
Demand was good. Slaughter supply consisted of 88 percent lambs, 11
percent slaughter ewes, and 1 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and
lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs
are sold by the hundredweight, on actual weights.
Slaugher Lambs: Wooled & Shorn Choice and Prime 2-3 40-50 lbs 275.00-305.00;
50-80 lbs 220.00-245.00; 80-110 lbs 225.00-233.00. Choice 2-3 40-60 lbs 205.00-
230.00; hair sheep 195.00-220.00; 60-70 lbs 185.00-207.00; 70-80 lbs 200.00-
227.00; hair sheep 195.00-210.00; 80-110 lbs 190.00-223.00, hair sheep 190.00-

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly steady to
10.00 higher. Slaughter nannies sold mostly steady to 10.00 lower. Slaughter bucks
and whethers sold sharply higher with good demand. Slaughter supply consisted of
57 percent Slaughter Kids, 24 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 19 percent bucks/billies
and whethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.

whethers 345.00-355.00; 80-100 lbs 265.00-275.00, whethers 340.00-362.00. Selection 2
40-60 lbs 135.00-172.00; 60-80 lbs 182.00-225.00, whethers 285.00-325.00. Selection 3
