Sheep/Lamb Receipts: 2134   Last Monday: 1475   Year Ago: 1738

subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream 
outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter 
outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
   
 Slaughter Sheep: Compared to last week slaughter lambs sold mostly 
20.00-50.00 lower. Slaughter ewes sold steady. Demand was good.  Supply 
was good. Slaughter supply consisted of 75 percent lambs, 20 percent slaughter 
ewes, and 5 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are destined for 
non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundredweight, 
on actual weights. 
   
   Slaughter Lambs: Wooled and Shorn Choice and Prime 2-3  50-90 lbs 280.00-295.00, 
hair sheep 275.00-295.00. Wooled and Shorn Choice 2-3  40-110 lbs 230.00-277.00; 
40-80 lbs hair sheep 220.00-265.00; 80-90 lbs 247.00-260.00; 80-130 lbs hair sheep 
192.00-255.00; 110-200 lbs 170.00-212.00. Wooled and Shorn Good 1-2  60-130 lbs hair 
sheep 152.00-195.00; 90-150 lbs 145.00-182.00.

   Slaughter Ewes:  Good 2-3  120-150 lbs 82.00-100.00, hair sheep 80.00-107.00. 
Utility 1-3  120-300 lbs 63.00-78.00; 120-160 lbs hair sheep 72.00-77.  Cull 1-2  120-300 
lbs 60.00-68.00.  

   Slaughter Bucks:  120-300 lbs 60.00-127.00, hair sheep 74.00-190.00. 

   Slaughter Goats: Compared to last week, Slaughter kids sold mostly steady. 
Nannies sold steady to 20.00 lower. Slaughter supply consisted of 35 percent 
Slaughter Kids, 33 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 32 percent bucks/billies 
and whethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.

   Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 147.00-195.00; 60-80 lbs 210.00-235.00; 
80-100 lbs 255.00-265.00. Selection 2  40-60 lbs 137.00-180.00; 60-80 lbs 175.00-
205.00. Selection 3  40-60 lbs 80.00-140.00; 60-80 lbs 147.00-165.00.

    Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1  80-130 lbs 200.00-265.00; 130-180 lbs
