subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream
outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter
outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Compared to last week, slaughter lambs and ewes sold unevenly steady.
Demand was good. Slaughter lambs sold steady to 20.00 lower. Slaughter supply
consisted of 89 percent lambs, 9 percent slaughter ewes, and 2 slaughter bucks. All
sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are
sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.

lbs sheep hair 125.00.
Slaughter Goats: Slaughter kids, nannies, and whethers sold 30.00-50.00 higher on
a light supply. Slaughter bucks sold steady on a light test. Demand was very good.
Slaughter supply consisted of 47 percent Slaughter Kids, 29 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 24 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All goats are sold by the head on
estimated weights.
