that are subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed
through mainstream outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to
lambs destined for slaughter outside of what would be termed
as traditional markets. ***

   Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold mostly steady on a very
light test. Demand was good. Slaughter ewes sold mostly weak on a very
light test. Demand was light. This report does not include mixed lots
of sheep and lambs. Slaughter supply consisted of 79 percent lambs,
10 percent slaughter ewes, and 11 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep
and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs
are sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.

274.00; 60-80 lbs 227.00-247.00, hair sheep 225.00-270.00; 80-90 lbs

sheep 170.00-176.00. Wooled and Shorn Choice and Prime 3-4 40-60 lbs

94.00-122.00; 200-355 lbs 72.00-87.00.
   
   Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, Slaughter Kids sold
mostly firm on a very light test. Demand was good. Nannies sold
mostly steady to 20.00 higher compared on a very light test. Billies
sold weak on a very light test. Slaughter supply consisted of
62 percent Slaughter Kids, 27 percent Slaughter Nannies, and
11 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All goats are sold by the
head on estimated weights.

185.00-230.00; 80-100 lbs 185.00-285.00. Selection 2 40-60 lbs 107.00-

    Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1 110-130 lbs 205.00-230.00;
130-160 lbs 210.00-260.00. Selection 2 90-130 lbs 150.00-175.00; 130-
140 lbs 180.00-210.00. Selection 3 80-120 lbs 127.00-155.00.

    Slaughter Bucks/Billies: Selection 1  120-150 lbs 237.00-260.00;
