subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets.
Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of what
would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Compared to last week, Slaughter Lambs sold mostly 20.00 higher with very
good demand. Slaughter Ewes traded 10.00-15.00 higher with good demand. Bucks
sold firm. Slaughter supply consisted of 80 percent lambs, 15 percent
slaughter ewes, and 5 percent slaughter bucks. All sheep and lambs are
destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the
hundred weight, on actual weights.

Slaughter Ewes: Good 2-3 Medium Flesh 120-160 lbs 116.00-144.00; 160-200
lbs 98.00-125.00; 200-300 lbs 90.00-92.00. Utility 1-2 120-160 lbs 95.00-
110.00; 160-200 lbs 94.00.
Slaughter Bucks: 120-160 lbs 110.00-160.00; 160-250 lbs 82.00-105.00.
Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, Slaughter Kids sold steady to
weak with good demand. Nannies mostly 10.00 higher with good demand. Bucks
sold steady. Reported slaughter supply consisted of 74 percent Slaughter
Kids, 20 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 06 percent bucks/billies and
whethers. All goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.
