subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets.
Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of what
would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Sheep and Lambs: Compared to last week, Slaughter lambs sold 15.00-30.00
higher with lighter offerings weighing less than 80 lbs trading as much as
50.00 higher. Demand was very good on light supplies. Slaughter ewes sold
mostly 10.00-15.00 higher compared to last week on good demand. Slaughter
supply consisted of 72 percent lambs, 22 percent slaughter ewes, and 6
percent miscellaneous stock. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-
traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on
actual weights.

Ewes: Good 2-3 (Medium Fleshed) 100-120 lbs 130.00-132.00; 120-160 lbs
90.00-120.00; 160-200 lbs 78.00-110.00; 200-300 lbs 80.00-104.00. Utility 1-2
(Thin Fleshed) 120-160 lbs 70.00-89.00.
Bucks: 160-200 lbs 58.00-87.00; 200-300 lbs 72.00-85.00.
Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter goats sold mostly
lower with exception of top quality Selection 1 goats in all classes. Kid
goats sold mostly 5.00-10.00 lower; nannies mostly 15.00-25.00 lower; bucks
mostly 20.00-30.00 lower. Demand was very good on an active trade. A notably
less attractive run had a greater influence on the lower market than demand.
Slaughter supply consisted of 59 percent Slaughter Kids, 32 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 09 percent bucks/billies and whethers. All Goats are sold by the
head on estimated weights.

167.00; 60-80 lbs 155.00-200.00; 80-100 lbs 205.00-245.00; 100-120 lbs
235.00-250.00. Selection 2 20-40 lbs 80.00-95.00; 40-60 lbs 108.00-147.00;
60-80 lbs 137.00-180.00; 80-100 lbs 180.00-200.00; 100-120 lbs 185.00-220.00.
Selection 3 20-40 lbs 50.00-88.00; 40-60 lbs 95.00-120.00; 60-80 lbs 110.00-

Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1 80-130 lbs 150.00-182.00; 130-180
