subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream
outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter
outside of what would be termed as traditional markets. ***
Sheep and Lambs: When compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold
mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. Slaughter ewes traded firm. Demand was
moderate for all classes. Slaughter supply consisted of 78 percent
lambs, 16 percent slaughter ewes, and 6 percent miscellaneous stock.
All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All
sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight,on actual weights.

Choice and Prime 2-3 40-60 lbs 164.00-187.00, hair sheep 157.00-
162.00; 60-80 lbs 160.00-182.00, hair sheep 148.00-160.00; 80-110

Slaughter Bucks: 160-200 lbs 50.00-74.00; 210-250 lbs 56.00-70.00.
Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kid goats
sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher on a very light test. Nanny goats
sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher on a very light test. Slaughter
billies sold firm. Demand was good for all classes. Slaughter
supply consisted of 56 percent Slaughter Kids, 36 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 18 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All Goats are
sold by the head on estimated weights.

140.00-170.00; 80-90 lbs 190.00-200.00; 90-110 lbs 182.00-192.00.
