Sheep/Lamb Receipts: 2359     Last Monday: 2260    Year Ago: 1100

subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets. 
Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of what 
would be termed as traditional markets. ***

Sheep and Lambs: When compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold mostly 
10.00-20.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter ewes traded mostly 5.00-10.00
lower on good demand. Prices dropping this week as buyers get back to
average inventories. Slaughter supply consisted of 75 percent lambs, 22
percent slaughter ewes, and 3 percent miscellaneous stock. All sheep and
lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are
sold by the hundred weight,on actual weights.

    Slaughter Lambs: Non-Traditional Markets: Wooled & Shorn Choice and Prime 
2-3 50-60 lbs 175.00-190.00, hair lambs 184.00-204.00; 60-70 lbs 182.00-
206.00, hair lambs 177.00-206.00; 70-80 lbs 170.00-194.00, hair lambs 164.00-
186.00; 80-90 lbs 156.00-177.00, hair lambs 154.00-172.00. Wooled and Shorn
Choice and Prime 3-4 50-60 lbs fancy 247.00-267.00, fancy hair lambs 210.00-
227.00; 60-70 lbs fancy 212.00-242.00, fancy hair lambs 210.00-220.00; 70-90
lbs fancy 192.00-207.00. Wooled and Shorn Good and Choice 1-3 50-60 lbs
180.00, hair lambs 178.00; 60-70 lbs 160.00-170.00, hair lambs 150.00-158.00;

    Slaughter Ewes: Good 2-3 Medium Flesh 100-150 lbs 77.00-90.00; 160-200
lbs 70.00-90.00. Utility 1-2 Thin Flesh 110-150 lbs 60.00-80.00; 160-200 lbs
66.00-70.00. 

   Slaughter Bucks: 100-150 lbs 80.00-115.00; 200-250 lbs 60.00-78.00. 
                       
Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kid goats sold 
mostly steady with good demand. Nanny goats sold 10.00-20.00 lower on
moderatre demand. Slaughter billies sold mostly steady. Slaughter
supply consisted of 64 percent Slaughter Kids, 22 percent Slaughter
Nannies, and 14 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All Goats are sold
by the head on estimated weights.
          
    Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 100.00-132.00; 60-80 lbs 138.00-
170.00; 80-100 lbs 164.00-188.00; 130 lbs 150.00. Selection 2  40-45 lbs
66.00-980.00; 50-60 lbs 100.00-122.00; 60-80 lbs 112.00-134.00; 80-90 lbs
146.00-156.00. Selection 3 70-75 lbs 92.00-102.00.  

    Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1  110-125 lbs 164.00-176.00; 130-145
