light test. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to
the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
5.00-6.00 higher. Demand good. Slaughter Holsteins not tested.
Slaughter heifers not tested. No comparison on Slaughter cows due to
holiday last week. Demand moderate. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00
higher. Demand moderate. Cattle supplies included 212 steers;
104 heifers; 281 cows; 99 bulls; and 112 feeder calves.
All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1600 lbs 105.00-
109.00. Choice 2-3  1200-1600 lbs 103.00-105.00. Select 1-2  1125-1350
