   Compared to last week: Slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 higher
on a light test. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily
to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
steady to 1.00 higher. Demand moderate. Slaughter Holsteins sold 1.00-
2.00 higher. Slaughter heifers not tested last week so no comparison.
Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand moderate. Slaughter bulls
sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand moderate. Cattle supplies included
239 steers; 159 heifers; 264 cows; 112 bulls; and 143 feeder calves.
All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 2-3  1350-1500 lbs 104.00-107.00. Select 1-2
1225-1650 lbs 99.00-104.00. High Dresing Lean Steers  1200-1900 lbs
95.00-121.00, individual 123.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1800-1825 lbs few
77.50-78.00. Choice 2-3  1400-1680 lbs  85.00-87.00. Select 1-2  1400-

   Slaughter Heifers: Choice 2-3  1200-1450 lbs few 104.00-104.50.
