   Compared to last week: Slaughter steers not tested. Demand light.
High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold mostly 2.00-3.00
lower on moderate demand. Slaughter Holsteins sold 2.00-3.00 lower on a
light test. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-4.00
lower. Demand moderate. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher on good
demand. Cattle supplies included 191 steers; 165 heifers; 291 cows;
137 bulls; and 175 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Not tested. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1550-1610 lbs few 96.00-
102.00. Choice 2-3  1550-1650 lbs 86.00-90.00. Select 1-2  1550-1650 lbs
few 84.00-86.00.
