   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold steady on moderate
demand. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the
ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold steady on 
moderate demand. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested last week so no
comparison.  Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-
3.00 higher. Demand good. Slaughter bulls 3.00-4.00 higher on good 
demand. Cattle supplies included 224 steers; 117 heifers; 220 cows;
129 bulls; and 222 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
