   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher on a
very light test. Demand moderate. High dressing Lean steers sold 3.00-
4.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested last
week so no comparison. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows
sold 3.00-4.00.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00
higher on good demand. Supply included 208 slaughter steers; 115 heifers;
203 cows; 115 bulls and 159 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 2-3  1400-1600 lbs few 122.00-125.50. Select 
1-2  1300-1650 lbs 115.00-121.50. High dressing Lean steers  1200-1700
lbs 116.00-142.00.  

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1700 lbs 93.00-
96.00. Choice 2-3  1385 lbs individual 88.50. Select 1-2 1425-1450 few
84.00.

70-130 lbs 110.00-135.00. Number 3  80-110 lbs 80.00-110.00. Utility
65-100 lbs 30.00-70.00.
