   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher compared
to a light test last week. Demand moderate. High dressing Lean steers sold
1.00-2.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested.
Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher
on moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher on moderate
demand. Supply included 210 slaughter steers; 112 heifers; 238 cows;
105 bulls and 121 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 2-3  1350-1600 lbs few 122.50-126.00. Select 
1-2  1300-1650 lbs 115.00-120.00. High dressing Lean steers  1250-1650 lbs
114.00-133.00.  

   Slaughter Holsteins: Not tested.

   Compared to last week, Number 1 Holstein bull calves sold 40.00-50.00
higher. Number 2 and Number 3 calves sold 20.00-30.00 higher. Utility
calves sold 10.00-20.00 higher. Demand good.

   Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  75-130 lbs 140.00-180.00. Number 2
75-120 lbs 120.00-145.00. Number 3  70-125 lbs 90.00-115.00. Utility
65-120 lbs 40.00-85.00.
