   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 higher
compared to a very light test of conventional steers last week. High
dressing Lean steers sold 4.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter Holstein steers not
tested. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00
lower on moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 lower. Supply
included 164 slaughter steers; 129 heifers; 319 cows; 87 bulls and
118 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650 lbs 115.00-
118.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 113.00-115.00. Select 1-2  1250-1700
lbs 105.00-117.00. High dressing Lean steers 106.00-127.00, few 133.00-
137.00.
