   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 3.00-4.00 lower on a light
test. High dressing Lean Steers are steers are sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold mostly steady to weak.
Not enough Slaughter Holstein steers for a market test last week so no
comparison but a weak undertone noted. Slaughter heifers not tested. Demand
was moderate. Slaughter cows sold 5.00-6.00 lower with moderate demand.
Slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 lower with light demand. Cattle supplies
included 184 slaughter steers; 87 heifers; 310 cows; 100 bulls and
166 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1600 lbs 96.00-98.00.
Choice 2-3  1250-1550 lbs 93.00-96.00. Select 2-3  1300-1500 lbs 89.00-
90.00. High Dressing Lean steers 1200-1700 lbs 91.00-120.00. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1450-1550 lbs 87.00-
89.00. Choice 2-3  1400-1500 lbs 82.00-85.00.
