   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady. Not enough
Slaughter Holstein steers for a market test. Slaughter heifers not tested.
Demand was light from conventional beef packers and good for the ethnic
based orders. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-4.00 higher with moderate demand.
Slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher with moderate demand. Cattle
supplies included 133 slaughter steers; 104 heifers; 264 cows; 104 bulls
and 96 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1550 lbs 104.00-105.00.
Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 95.00-101.00. Select 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 90.00-
96.00. High Dressing Lean steers 1200-1700 lbs 90.00-120.00. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: Choice 2-3  1540 lbs individual 91.00. Select 2-3
1450-1600 lbs Few 83.00-87.00.
