   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00 higher on a light test.
Demand was good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 1.00-2.00 lower on moderate
demand. Slaughter Holstein steers not tested. Slaughter heifers not tested.
Slaughter cows sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter bulls sold
1.00-2.00 lower on a very light test. Cattle supplies included 159 slaughter
steers; 80 heifers; 241 cows; 45 bulls and 147 feeder cattle. All prices quoted
per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1450-1650 lbs 132.00-135.50.
Choice 2-3  1400-1600 lbs 127.00-131.00. Select 1-2  1350-1650 lbs 120.00-124.00.
High Dressing Lean Steers 120.00-139.00.

   Slaughter Holstein Steers: Not tested.

160.00-185.00. Number 3  75-125 lbs 130.00-160.00. Utility 60-105 lbs 80.00-
125.00.
