   Compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00 higher. 
Demand was good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the 
ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold mostly steady.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher compared to a very light test
last week. Slaughter heifers sold 3.00-4.00 higher compared to a very light
test last week. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Cattle supplies included
236 slaughter steers; 165 heifers; 233 cows; 98 bulls and 145 feeder cattle.
All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 2-3  1300-1600 lbs 126.00-127.00.
Choice 2-3  1350-1600 lbs 122.00-125.50. Select 1-2  1250-1650 lbs 117.00-
121.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 115.00-132.00.

   Slaughter Holstein Steers: High Choice and Prime 2-3 1350-1600 lbs

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  65-120 lbs 185.00-210.00. Number 2  70-120
lbs 150.00-185.00. Number 3  65-135 lbs 135.00-150.00. Utility  60-85 lbs
30.00-60.00; 90-115 lbs 100.00-135.00.
