   Compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers sold 3.00-4.00 lower
compared to a light test last week. Demand was light. High dressing Lean
Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely
lean. Those steers sold 4.00-5.00 lower on light demand. Slaughter Holstein
steers and heifers not tested last week so no comparison. Slaughter cows
sold steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Cattle
supplies included 142 slaughter steers; 94 heifers; 272 cows; 95 bulls and
169 feeder cattle. All prices quotedper cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 2-3  1350-1600 lbs 119.00-120.00.
Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 116.00-118.00. Select 1-2  1300-160 lbs 110.00-
115.00. High Dressing Lean Steers 112.00-126.00.

   Slaughter Holstein Steers: Choice 2-3  1550 lbs individual 107.50. Select
1-2  1350-1650 lbs 102.00-103.00.

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  75-120 lbs 150.00-185.00. Number 2  75-120
lbs 100.00-150.00. Number 3  70-130 lbs 75.00-100.00. Utility  70-100 lbs
50.00-60.00.
