   Compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers sold 1.00-2.00 lower on
light demand. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the
ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 3.00-4.00 lower
on very light demand. Slaughter Holstein steers and heifers not tested.
Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower with most movement in the Breakers.
Slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 lower compared to a light test last week.
Cattle supplies included 136 slaughter steers; 145 heifers; 217 cows;
115 bulls and 158 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 2-3  1275-1650 lbs 128.00-129.50.
Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 123.00-127.00. Select 1-2  1300-1650 lbs 119.50-

lbs 200.00-250.00. Number 3  65-105 lbs 160.00-210.00. Utility  70-90 lbs
75.00-150.00.
