   When compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers traded mostly 
3.00-4.00 lower. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to
the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Today those steers traded
steady. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher compared to last week.
Demand was good. Slaughter Bulls sold steady. Cattle supplies included
134 slaughter steers; 96 heifers; 293 cows; 111 bulls and 107 feeder cattle.
All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 1-2  1350-1600 lbs 144.00-147.00. Select 1-3  
1300-1650 lbs 136.00-143.00. High dressing Lean Steers 138.00-155.00.

   Slaughter Holstein Steers: Select 1-3  1330-1670 lbs 127.00-132.00

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull 
calves sold mostly steady to 15.00 higher on good demand. Heifer Calves sold 
mostly steady on a light test. Demand was moderate. All prices per cwt.     

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  120-130 lbs 450.00-500.00; 100-115 lbs 500.00-
535.00; 75-95 lbs 550.00-585.00, few 600.00-610.00. Number 2  120-135 lbs 
400.00-450.00; 100-115 lbs 460.00-525.00; 75-100 lbs 510.00-560.00. Number 3
95-115 lbs 425.00-485.00; 75-90 lbs 500.00-535.00. Utility 100-125 lbs 300.00-
385.00; 65-95 lbs 350.00-425.00.   

Holstein Heifer Calves:  Number 1  85-115 lbs 400.00-460.00. Number 2  300.00-
375.00. Utility/Non-tubing 65-95 lbs 150.00-225.00.
