   When compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers traded 1.00-2.00
higher. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Today those steers also traded 1.00-
2.00 higher compared to last week. Slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00-3.00 
lower compared to last week. Demand was moderate. Slaughter Bulls sold 
mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Cattle supplies included 207 slaughter 
steers; 106 heifers; 214 cows; 100 bulls and 83 feeder cattle. All prices 
quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: Choice 1-2  1300-1600 lbs 151.00-155.00. Select 1-3
1250-1650 lbs 146.00-150.50. High dressing Lean Steers 150.00-165.00.

   Slaughter Bulls: Yield Grade 1  850-2340 lbs Avg Dress 137.00-144.00,
High Dress 146.00-155.00, Very High Dress 157.00-159.00 with an individual
at 175.00, Low Dress 130.00-136.00, Very Low Dress 122.00-129.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull calves 
sold mostly steady on better quality supply and good demand. Holstein heifer 
calves sold steady on a very light test. Demand was moderate. All prices per cwt.     

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  110-120 lbs 475.00-510.00; 95-110 lbs 525.00-
560.00; 80-90 lbs 560.00-585.00, few 600.00. Number 2  100-120 lbs 425.00-485.00;
85-100 lbs 500.00-535.00; 75-80 lbs 525.00-550.00. Number 3  90-115 lbs 375.00-
425.00; 70-90 lbs 460.00-500.00. Utility 110-120 lbs 275.00-335.00; 95-105 lbs
300.00-350.00; 70-90 lbs 360.00-400.00.  

Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  80-100 lbs 425.00-450.00. Number 2  70-90 lbs 
325.00-375.00. Utility/Non-tubing 70-90 lbs 300.00-350.00; 55-65 lbs 200.00-
250.00.
