   When compared to last Monday's sale, Slaughter steers traded mostly 2.00-
3.00 lower. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic
market and most are extremely lean. Today those steers traded mostly steady
compared to last week. Slaughter cows sold uneven with lean cows selling mostly 
7.00 higher and breaker and boning cattle selling mostly 3.00-4.00 higher compared 
to last week. Demand was good. Slaughter Bulls sold mostly steady to 1.00 higher. 
Cattle supplies included 154 slaughter steers; 124 heifers; 296 cows; 114 bulls 
and 99 feeder cattle. All prices quoted per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1550 lbs individual 157.00.
Choice 1-2 1300-1600 lbs 150.00-154.50. Select 1-3 1300-1550 lbs 145.00-
148.00. High dressing Lean Steers 152.00-169.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull calves 
sold mostly steady to 50.00 higher. Demand was good. Holstein heifer calves
sold firm on a very light test. Demand was good. All prices per cwt.     

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  100-105 lbs 560.00-585.00; 75-95 lbs 585.00-
635.00, individual 650.00. Number 2  120-125 lbs 485.00-500.00; 100-115 lbs 
525.00-550.00; 75-95 lbs 560.00-600.00. Number 3  120-125 lbs 410.00-425.00;
100-110 lbs 450.00-510.00; 60-95 lbs 500.00-550.00. Utility 100-125 lbs 
320.00-385.00; 60-95 lbs 350.00-410.00. 

Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  85-100 lbs 425.00-435.00; 75-80 lbs 375.00-
400.00. Number 2  70-90 lbs 275.00-350.00. Utility/Non-tubing 70-80 lbs 
150.00-175.00; 55-65 lbs 100.00-150.00.
