When compared to last week's sharply higher market, slaughter cows sold
3.00 lower, but with very good demand on a more adequate supply. Bulls traded
weak with good demand. Cattle supply included 219 slaughter steers and
heifers, 402 cows, 135 bulls, and 30 feeders. All prices quoted per cwt.

with light calves weighing less than 100 lbs trading as much as 10.00 higher.
Demand was good on a heavy supply. Heifers sold steady with moderate demand.

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 85-120 lbs 105.00-117.00. Number 2 100-
125 lbs 90.00-105.00; 85-95 lbs 85.00-100.00. Number 3 95-120 lbs 70.00-
85.00; 80-90 lbs 60.00-75.00. Utility 75-100 lbs 45.00-65.00; 60-70 lbs
35.00-40.00.
Holstein Heifers: Number 1 80-110 lbs 110.00-150.00. Number 2 80-95 lbs
70.00-100.00. Utility/Non-Tubing 75-110 lbs 40.00-70.00; 60-75 lbs 11.00-
