When compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold sharply higher, upwards
to 6.00-8.00 higher. Demand was very good on a better quality supply of
slaughter cows. Bulls traded 4.00-5.00 lower with light to moderate demand.
Cattle supply included 142 slaughter steers and heifers, 299 cows, 211 bulls,
and 181 feeders. All prices quoted per cwt.

to 5.00 lower with good demand. Heifers sold weak with very light demand. All
prices per cwt.
Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 95-120 lbs 110.00-122.00; 85-90 lbs
105.00-115.00. Number 2 95-130 lbs 95.00-110.00; 85-90 lbs 80.00-95.00.
Number 3 95-135 lbs 65.00-80.00; 85-90 lbs 60.00-70.00. Utility 75-130 lbs
40.00-65.00.
Holstein Heifers: Number 1 90-105 lbs 90.00-140.00. Number 2 70-105
lbs 60.00-75.00. Utility/Non-Tubing 70-85 lbs 40.00-60.00.
