Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Wednesday, 5/22/13
On Wednesday negotiated cash trade and demand was light to moderate in the Texas
Panhandle, with trading light to moderate on moderate demand in Kansas. Compared to
last week, live sales traded 1.00 lower at 124.00. In the Northern Plains and Western
Cornbelt, trading was limited on light demand. Not enough sales for a market trend.
The last established market was last week in the Northern Plains live sales sold at
126.50 and dressed sales in Nebraska sold at 201.00. Last week in the Western
Cornbelt, live sales sold from 124.00-125.50 and dressed sales sold from 198.00-
202.00.
