Weighted Average Report for Saturday 4/11/2015

Cattle Receipts: 906         Last week: 853          Last year: 1055 

Compared to last week: Steer calves sold steady to 3.00 lower.  Heifer calves 
sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower with the exception of 300 w/t heifers which were in good 
demand. Yearling steers and heifers were not fully tested. Slaughter cows sold 
2.00 to 3.00 higher, Slaughter Bulls sold mostly steady.

This week?s supply included 20 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 44 percent 
Steer calves and bull calves 2.0 percent Holstein Steers and 30 percent heifers 
of total recorded feeder supply. 100 head of slaughter cows with 95 percent 
going to slaughter, 12 head slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter. 
4 head of cows/calves and 43 head of bred cows.
