Cattle Receipts:  335         Last week: 416              Last year:  412

Compared to last week feeder cattle were steady to 4.00 higher with instances
of 6.00-7.00 higher on high quality offerings. Very good demand was noted for 
weaned and vaccinated cattle not carrying excessive flesh.
Slaughter cows were mostly steady on a light test, while slaughter bulls 
were steady to 3.00 higher. Considerable rainfall has been prevalent throughout
the region this week with more precipitation in the forecast for the coming
days.

Feeders: 253  Slaughter: 36  Replacements: 46
Slaughter cows made up 19 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 6 percent, 
other cows 2 percent, and feeders 74 percent.  The feeder supply included 24 
percent steers, 42 percent heifers, and 34 percent bulls. Near 27 percent of 
the run weighed over 600 lbs.
