Trends: According to the Federal-State Market News Service, compared to 
the same sale one week ago, prices for Slaughter cows: Steady to 1.00 
higher; Slaughter bulls: 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Steers/bulls under 500 lbs 
7.00 to 13.00 higher; over 500 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Heifers under 500 
lbs 8.00 to 12.00 higher; over 500 lbs steady to 6.00 higher. Quality 
plain to average; several attractive.

Limited price comparisons on some feeder classes due to light receipts 
from previous sale. Trade active with demand very good for all feeder 
classes. Local weather conditions much improved this week, allowing 
receipts to rebound and generating enhanced demand.

Slaughter cows 81; Slaughter bulls 22; Total feeder supply 671; Feeder 
steers/bulls 388; Feeder heifers 283; Feeder supply over 600 lbs 118; 
Replacement/feeder cows 77.
