Trends: According to the Federal-State Market News Service, compared to the 
same sale one week ago, prices for Slaughter cows: Steady to 1.00 higher; 
Slaughter bulls: 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers/bulls under 500 lbs 4.00 
to 8.00 higher; over 500 lbs 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs 
3.00 to 6.00 higher; over 500 lbs 1.00 to 4.00 lower.  Quality plain to 
average; several attractive. Demand very good for grass type cattle, demand 
moderate to good for heavier weights.

Slaughter cows 73; Slaughter bulls 12; Total feeder supply 531; Feeder 
steers/bulls 282; Feeder heifers 249; Feeder supply over 600 lbs 88; 
Replacement/feeder cows 54.
