No trends due to the holidays the last few weeks and market not reported
last week due to light receipts and inclement weather and road conditions.
Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows made up 68 percent of the
offering, Slaughter bulls 5 percent, and feeders 27 percent of the supply.
The feeder supply included 48 percent steers and 52 percent heifers. Near 48
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Replacement Cows: Pre-tested for
pregnancy, and age.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs 169.00-172.00; 600-700 lbs
149.00; 700-800 lbs 149.50.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs 155.00-159.50; 600-700 lbs
142.50.
