    Compared to last Monday at the same market, stocker and feeder cattle
3.00-9.00 lower. Trade slow with light demand and light buyer
participation. Cattle futures moved in a positive direction, however,
many are not sure if this is a true turning point in the market.
Slaughter cows and bulls 4.00-6.00 lower. Trade slow to moderate with
light to moderate demand. Slaughter cows made up 43 percent of the
offering, Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 47 percent of the
supply. The feeder supply included 70 percent steers and 30 percent
heifers. Near 39 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
