Compared to last Thursdays limited test at the same market, stocker and
feeder cattle trended higher. Trade very active with good demand. Slaughter
cows and bulls 1.00-3.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand. Slaughter
cows made up 50 percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and
feeders 40 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 61 percent steers
and 39 percent heifers. Near 90 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 300-400 lbs 272.00; 600-700 lbs
223.50-235.50; 700-800 lbs 214.00; 700-800 lbs 206.00. Full; 800-900 lbs
209.00; 800-900 lbs 214.00, Thin Fleshed; 900-1000 lbs 203.00; 900-1000 lbs
