Compared to last Monday at the same market, not enough stocker or feeder
cattle last week for accurate trends, however a higher undertone was noted.
Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls 2.00-3.00 lower.
Trade moderate to active with light to moderate demand. Slaughter cows made
up 44 percent of the offering, Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 46
percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 64 percent steers and 36
percent heifers. Near 64 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs 163.00; 600-700 lbs 138.00-
147.00, Calves; 700-800 lbs 138.00-143.75; 800-900 lbs 140.50-143.00. Large 1-2:
900-1000 lbs 139.00-139.50. Small and Medium 1-2: 400-500 lbs 145.00; 400-500
lbs 118.00, Full; 500-600 lbs 146.00-150.00; 500-600 lbs 135.50-139.00, Full.
Holstein Steers: Large 2-3: 300-400 lbs 88.50; 1000-1100 lbs 64.50.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: 500-600 lbs 139.00-142.00; 600-700 lbs
