Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday February 09, 2017.

Cattle Receipts:   732    Last Week: 1,372    Last Year: 1,109

 Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. All 
feeder classes sold unevenly steady. Trade moderate with moderate 
demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. 
Slaughter cows made up 6 percent of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, 
replacement cows and pairs 6 percent, and feeders 87 percent. The 
feeder supply included 11 percent steers, 33 percent heifers, and 56 
percent bulls. Near 13 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
