Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday June 13, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 3,077   Last Week: 4,221   Last Year: 3,196 

  Compared to one weeks ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 
steady to 2.00 lower. All feeder classes sold mostly 4.00 to 
8.00 lower. Trade active with light demand on feeders. 
Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows 
made up 8 percent of the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement 
cows and pairs 9 percent, and feeders 82 percent. The feeder 
supply included 37 percent steers, 27 percent heifers, and 36 
percent bulls. Near 24 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
