Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Thursday May 26, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 1,103   Last Week: 1,746   Last Year: 1,328 

  Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00
to 3.00 higher. All feeders sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Trade light
with light to moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and
pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 6 percent of the
offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 1 percent,
and feeders 87 percent. The feeder supply included 26 percent
steers, 46 percent heifers, and 28 percent bulls. Near 27 percent
of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
