Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday April 25, 2016.

Cattle Receipts: 3,650   Last Week: 2,992   Last Year: 3,366 

  Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly 
steady. All feeder classes sold 3.00 to 8.00 lower. Trade 
moderate with light demand on feeders. Replacement cows and 
pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of 
the offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 9 
percent, and feeders 81 percent. The feeder supply included 21 
percent steers, 35 percent heifers, and 44 percent bulls. Near 
20 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
