Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Monday December 14, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,906   Last Week: 4,061   Last Year:  3,865

   Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady 
to 3.00 lower. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Trade 
moderate with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and 
pairs sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 10 percent of the 
offerings, bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 12 percent, 
and feeders 77 percent. The feeder supply included 16 percent 
steers, 41 percent heifers, and 43 percent bulls. Near 13 percent 
of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
