Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday June 10, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 2,494   Last Week:  2,282   Last Year:  3,412 

Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 
2.00 lower. All feeder classes sold mostly steady. Trade active 
with good demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold 
mostly steady. Slaughter cows made up 7 percent of the offerings, 
bulls 1 percent, replacement cows and pairs 6 percent, and feeders 
86 percent. The feeder supply included 2 percent steers, 36 
percent heifers, and 62 percent bulls. Near 16 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
