Alabama Auctions Daily Summary
Alabama livestock auctions that were held Wednesday May 27, 2015.

Cattle Receipts: 3,077   Last Week:  1,987   Last Year:  1,924 

   Compared to a week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 
lower. All feeder classes sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Trade moderate with 
moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cows and pairs sold mostly 
steady. Slaughter cows made up 7 percent of the offerings, bulls 1 
percent, replacement cows and pairs 6 percent, and feeders 86 percent. 
The feeder supply included 27 percent steers, 48 percent heifers, and 
25 percent bulls. Near 23 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
